Summary

Dear Colleagues,

Thank you all for the interest you are showing in my book. I've seen my approach to the SAT help my own students and I am very excited now to have it out there "in print".

Because my book also works for the new SAT, I don't have to release a new edition. The changes in the math SAT are much less dramatic than in the verbal test. There are just a few things to be aware of.

All of the strategies I teach still apply - and they apply to the supposedly "higher level" algebra as well. Since what I teach is really algebra avoidance, it works for Algebra I and II .

There are some changes to know about. My book includes a section on the comparison section. Students taking the new test can skip that lesson.

Also, my book contains specific charts that tell students what to answer and what to omit, based on their score goals. These charts are based on the current SAT. We are going to post charts for the new SAT on the DNA Press website (free to all), but not until after January. That way, students taking the current format SAT won't be confused (I hope). Please bookmark this page for updates.

If you have any other questions about my book, or about SAT preparation in general, feel free to email me through my publisher - editors@dnapress.com. I'd be happy to help.

Thanks,
Phil Keller
