Summary

Grant Macaw grew up in Southern California.  He earned an Academic Honors BA in Languages and Government from California State University, Sacramento, and is a member of Phi Kappa Phi.  He also has an MSA in Public Administration from the George Washington University, Washington, D.C. 

Along the way to becoming a writer, Grant acquired a military intelligence background with diverse command and geographic tours, achieved the rank of Colonel in the U.S. Air Force, and is a Distinguished Graduate of the Air Force's graduate level Air War College. 

Grant lives and writes in Colorado, where he is also on the professional staff of an international consulting firm, where he provides varied technology, information operations, and business strategies and practices services to government components involved in space systems development and operations. 

Grant has several spec screenplays, two TV series concepts and pilot scripts, and a released fiction book, "The Ninth Day".  He has won and placed in film festival and screenplay competitions, including First Place twice in the annual Breckenridge, Colorado Festival of Film.  He currently has a screenplay in pre-production with Curbside Pictures, NY. 

Locally, Grant developed the story concept and wrote the script for a PBS-TV format, 30-minute video docu-drama, "Dreams Made Of Clay", about the internationally renowned art potter, Artus VanBriggle.
