While we love speaking with our readers and authors, please review the questions and answers below prior to requesting support.  Many common issues are addressed below or in our manuscript submission guidelines. 

For Authors

How do I submit my manuscript?

For full guidelines please see the manuscript submission guidelines. We receive many manuscripts each day so please follow the guidelines to help us provide prompt services.

What is the status of the manuscript I submitted?

Please allow 2 to 4 weeks to review and to provide feedback for each manuscript.  If we get a little behind, please feel free to contact us to check the current status.

Can I get my manuscript back?

We prefer to receive a disposable copy of your work. Include a cover letter and SASE for the letter. However, if you insist on receiving your manuscript back include the right postage. About 20% of the cases we have manuscripts returned to us because of insufficient postage. We do not pay for the extra postage.

How do I submit a proposal for my new book?

Send a Letter of Inquiry, which should be accompanied by a short, one-page synopsis of the book along with your thoughts on why the book should be published, its target audience, and its likely competitors. What is your return policy?

We offer a 7 day money back guarantee on all new books that were purchased directly from our DNA Press website. Please contact us for more details.  Books purchased through other vendors or distributors are subject to the return policies of the seller.
